Job descriptionDocumentation : Create and maintain documentation for developed Tableau dashboards, data models, and processes. Training & Support : Provide training and mentorship to junior developers and end-users on Tableau usage, best practices, and data visualization techniques. Experience with data visualization, business intelligence, and data analysis. Experience with data integration and ETL processes. Experience developing workbooks from multiple data sources using data blending. Improving data processing speed by building SQL automations Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep. Advanced SQL skills and experience with data querying and manipulation. Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with databases. Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView) is a plus. Collaborate with the data engineering team to develop and maintain ETL pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for front-end reporting in Tableau. Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Desktop Certified Professional). Experience with programming languages such as Python or R. Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services. Good experience in end-to-end implementation of data warehouse and data marts . Well-developed analytical & problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration. Excellent team player, able to work with virtual teams Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality deliverables. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal management supervision
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Developer to join our data visualization team. In this role, you will maintain and enhance our business intelligence platform, overseeing the migration of legacy reports and creating new, high-impact Tableau solutions. You will interface with key stakeholders and leverage your technical proficiency throughout the migration process, as well as design and develop advanced interactive dashboards that drive insights and support strategic data-driven decision-making. This position requires a robust combination of technical expertise , analytical skills, and a deep understanding of data visualization best practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Dashboard Development : Collaborate and support business units to design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports that effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
- Data Integration : Partner with the data engineering team to integrate Tableau with various data sources, ensuring data accuracy and implementing necessary data transformations.
- Analysis & Reporting : Conduct in-depth data analysis to support business decisions, identify trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Performance Optimization : Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability, ensuring rapid load times and intuitive user experiences.
- Platform Maintenance : Oversee the maintenance of the Tableau BI platform, including user access management, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting issues.
Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
