SiepeDallas, TX, United States

Job type
  • Full-time
Job description

Siepe is a fast-growing technology company headquartered in Dallas, TX - focused on helping investment managers turn complexity into clarity. We build software and data solutions that give hedge funds and financial services firms the visibility, speed, and confidence they need to make better decisions - faster.

Our platform delivers a unified source of truth that empowers our clients with real-time, actionable insights. We don't just serve the industry - we help modernize it!

Siepe is profitable, privately held, and growing fast. We offer more than just competitive pay and great benefits-we offer the chance to do impactful work alongside sharp, driven teammates in a culture that rewards curiosity, initiative, and follow-through. Whether you come from finance, tech, or are charting a new path, you'll find meaningful problems to solve, real ownership, and the momentum to grow your career with purpose.

As a Project Manager, you will serve as the operational glue between engineering, product, and business stakeholders. Your focus will be to ensure sprint success by managing dependencies, refining team-level backlogs, and facilitating clear communication between teams. You will coach product owners on effective user story development, help track capacity and velocity, and foster continuous improvement through ceremony facilitation. You will produce monthly and quarterly score cards that help evaluate quality, performance and the effectiveness of new tools and technologies to grow velocity.

Candidates must have experience managing software projects with task tracking tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub Projects.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure stories are well-defined, estimated, and prioritized.
  • Work with dev leads to maintain team-level sprint boards and ensure accurate capacity planning.
  • Identify and manage cross-team dependencies and blockers.
  • Collaborate with engineering managers and leads to align timelines and expectations.
  • Escalate risks proactively and drive mitigation strategies.
  • Drive backlog refinement sessions to ensure readiness of stories for upcoming sprints.
  • Ensure acceptance criteria, estimates, and definitions of ready / done are clear and actionable.
  • Support transition of features from development through QA, UAT, and release.
  • Mentor teams and product owners in Agile best practices while remaining flexible to context.
  • Encourage continuous improvement through team health checks and retrospectives.
  • Help evolve the Agile process to meet the maturity level and needs of each team.
  • Track progress using monthly and quarterly scorecards.
  • Use ADO to manage work items, epics, and velocity reporting.
  • Track story points, hours, and team throughput to inform planning and capacity.
  • Create and maintain dashboards to provide visibility into sprint progress and delivery.

What You'll Bring

  • 5-7 years of experience in Product Management or Agile Project Management or Scrum Master roles in software development.
  • 2-3 years in Scrum Master and Project Management role reporting to executive staff.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) with a pragmatic mindset - able to adapt processes to fit the needs of a small, growing company rather than following them dogmatically.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to lead meetings and influence without authority.
  • Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub Projects for backlog and sprint management.
  • Experience managing and configuring :
  • Iterations and Area Paths for scalable team planning.
  • Story Points, Hours, and Capacity for team estimation and forecasting.
  • Velocity Tracking for sprint delivery insights.
  • Ability to visualize and track dependencies across multiple teams and projects.
  • Skilled in producing reporting artifacts (burn-downs, cumulative flow diagrams, capacity reports).
  • Familiarity with financial concepts relevant to loan syndication, tranches, waterfall models, and deal execution workflows is a strong plus.
  • What We Offer

At Siepe, we don't just hire talent, we build performance-driven teams empowered by transparency, curiosity, and continuous growth. Our Total Rewards go beyond the basics : they're designed to reward bold thinking, support personal development, and create space for meaningful connection whether you're growing your career, your skill set, or your impact.

    Compensation & Financial Well-being :

  • Competitive Compensation Packages, including Annual Performance-Based Bonuses
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match to support your long-term financial goals
  • Employee Referral Program - earn rewards for helping us grow our talented team
  • Health & Insurance Benefits

  • Comprehensive Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
  • Flexible plans tailored to support individuals and families
  • Learning & Career Growth

  • Annual investment in your Learning & Development goals
  • On-the-job exposure to innovative technologies and financial strategies
  • Growth opportunities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values continuous improvement
  • Time Off & Flexibility

  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Flexibility to recharge and maintain work-life balance
  • In-Office Perks & Culture

  • Daily meal delivery allowance when working from the office
  • Monthly Celebrations and Quarterly Offsite Events
  • Annual Holiday Party to celebrate milestones and build team connection
  • A vibrant, inclusive office culture that blends fun with purpose
