Salary Range : $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, program, and optimize CMM inspection routines for various manufactured parts.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications to create measurement strategies.
• Perform CMM machine calibration, probe qualification, and maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and debug CMM programs, fixtures, and measurement results.
• Generate comprehensive and accurate CMM inspection reports.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve measurement discrepancies.
• Maintain CMM programming software, libraries, and associated documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).

Strong understanding and application of GD&T principles.

Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.

Hands-on experience with CMM operation, setup, and calibration.

Knowledge of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and inspection techniques.

Bonus Qualifications

Advanced GD&T expertise or certification.

Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA).

Experience operating or programming other metrology equipment (e.g., vision systems, laser scanners).

Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and data analysis.
