Associate Technology Specialist
Jacksonville, Florida 3 weeks of Training, then remote
ARC Group is currently seeking an Associate Technology Specialist for a prestigious Fortune 500 company. This role is initially a 3-week training program at our client's Southside location in Jacksonville, Florida, transitioning thereafter to a fully remote setup.
This position offers the potential for long-term contract extension or conversion to full-time employment.
Our client, a Fortune 500 enterprise, requires a local candidate capable of participating in in-person training sessions and subsequent remote work.
While the role is primarily remote, occasional on-site meetings may be necessary, necessitating residency in the Greater Jacksonville area.
Candidates must possess work authorization without the need for sponsorship, either presently or in the future.
Essential functions :
Provide customer support via phone, instant messaging, and ticketing system
Under supervision, address basic issues and requests related to desktop, server, mainframe, remote connectivity, and telephony applications / hardware
Analyze, document, and resolve issues and requests
Escalate complex issues and requests to senior Technology Specialists
Document and route level 2 and 3 issues / requests to appropriate teams and assist in issue identification and resolution
Utilize scripts and available tools during customer support interactions
Contribute to department documentation and processes
What are the requirements to be considered for the Associate Technology Specialist?
Minimum one year of experience in desktop support / helpdesk support, assisting users via phone, email, or webcam
Excellent communication skills are essential
High school diploma required; college degree preferred
Technology certifications preferred, but not required
Previous experience with ticketing systems is required
