Position Summary : This position is responsible for analyzing and processing complex accounts payable transactions / invoices. Position will partner with Supply Chain personnel to conduct research and analysis to resolve invoice discrepancies. This is a key role in maintaining positive vendor relationships. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Plant Controller.
Note : This position requires meticulous attention to detail in the performance of daily work; also requires confidentiality and trust as the incumbent has access to employee and company expense records.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Qualifications / Experience :
Three to five years of related experience processing 3-way match (inventory) invoices (required); Associate degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school (preferred); basic knowledge of accounting policies and practices is required; experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Must have strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills; need strong attention to detail, organization, and interpersonal skills; effective oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of personal computer and various software applications including word processing and spreadsheets (Microsoft Office); experience working with major ERP systems - (MS Dynamics D365, Concur) is preferred. Some overtime may be required.
