Project Engineer

BEPC is actively looking for a Project Engineer in the Phoenix, AZ area!

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

6 - month contract with possible extensions!

Pay Rate : $73.22-$76.22 / hour

Hybrid Minimum 3 days in office, option for 2 days remote

Responsible to coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination in support of a US Army program.

Monitoring of project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards will help maintain project efficiency and deliver high-quality results.

Report directly to the Sr Engineer Program Manager.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
• 2+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience in risk management and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• Technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline.
