We are currently seeking anElectrical Engineer in our Lakeland TN office with strong designand project management experience.

Perform routine aspects of electrical engineering requiringknowledge and application of basic electrical engineeringprinciples without close supervision.

Applyconcepts such as the principals of electrical circuit laws lightingconcepts and knowledge of electrical equipment to practicalsituations.

Researches develops and designs avariety of equipment facilities components products and systems forhealthcare commercial and industrial projects

Electrical systems will predominantly be for building projectsincluding power systems lighting fire alarm and other signalsystems.

Evaluates the desired goal of thesystem and develops designs or selects the required equipment powercontrols communication systems and computer networks to achieve thegoal.

Performs calculations and evaluations inthe design of equipment and systems for healthcare industrial andcommercial applications.

Preparation of detailedplans and specifications substantiated by calculations andthoughtfully developed engineering solutions to meet customer needsand all regulatory requirements.

May usecomputerassisted engineering and design software and equipment toperform engineering task.

Proven leadershipabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills areessential

Maintains effective communication withproject team members and with the client.

Participates in planning cost development and management andscheduling for assigned projects.

The individualwill participate in marketing and business development activitiesincluding development of project proposals and providing technicalexpertise.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in electrical engineering from an accreditedfouryear college or university

RegisteredEngineer; strongly prefer licensure in the state ofTennessee.

Minimum of five (5) years experienceas an electrical engineer; 10 years experience ispreferred

Ability to demonstrate strongorganizational and time management skills

Ability to interact professionally and comfortably and build andmaintain excellent interpersonal relationships

Demonstrated experience with client interaction and ability to leada team

Demonstrated experience using Revit CAD;Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Knowledge of electrical engineer principles practices andtechniques.

Knowledge of building materialsconstruction methods building codes andregulations..

Knowledge of National ElectricalCode (NFPA70) and other National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)Codes.

Healthcare design / engineering experiencepreferred

LEED Accreditation is aplus
