The People

As the General Manager III you will report directly to the Director of Operations. You will work closely with your peers in other IFS locations, collaborating on a weekly basis, along with other members of high-level leadership in a magnitude of collaboration settings.

How you make an Impact

• Job responsibilities such as establishing objectives for the facilities annual budget.
• Responsible for the facilities daily, weekly, monthly site performance (profit & loss statements).
• Assist in the development of employee incentives, by setting clear strategic plans for employee growth opportunities.
• Track, and report department performance metrics through score carding measures.
• Issue / approve annual performance evaluations by appraising employee job results.
• Support IFS continuous improvements
• Serve as primary point of contact for our customers.
• Build the company's image for customers, community, and company through business ethics.
• Work in conjunction with all members of the management team to foster a team environment and the success of IFS objectives.
• Follow all site and OSHA safety rules while in office areas and on production floor. Set an example for all employees by adhering to the site Dress Code including wearing all required PPE.
• Additional duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed at IFS

• Bachelor's degree in a business field or five years of industry experience.
• Three years of general management background
• Strong knowledge of contract manufacturing / co-packing desired
• Quality, Food safety Culture
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of supply chain flow
• Works well under pressure
• Knowledge of loss prevention, safety, and OSHA policies and procedures

Physical / Environmental Demands

Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time in an uncontrolled temperature environment.

Must be able to follow standard operating methods, good manufacturing practices, and safe work habits.
