This position plays a crucial role in our organization, responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our financial systems, including monthly reporting, ERP implementation, and annual budgeting.

As a Permanent Controller, your main responsibilities will include :

1. Overseeing the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.

2. Optimizing systems for performance and efficiency, ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly and effectively.

3. Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements.

4. Managing the production of the annual budget and forecasts, and preparing financial outlooks and financial forecasts.

5. Working with the executive team on strategic financial planning.

6. Implementing and ensuring compliance with financial controls and procedures.

7. Managing the year-end close process and coordinating the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.

8. Overseeing the financial operations of subsidiary companies.

9. Monitoring debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.

10. Overseeing the company's transaction processing systems and ERP implementation.

11. Managing and tracking the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Controller position should possess the following qualifications :

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification is highly desirable.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

3. Proven experience in ERP implementation and managing financial systems.

4. Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Financial Statements, Fixed Assets, GL, and Year End Close.

5. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.

6. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.

7. Strong leadership and organizational skills.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.

9. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.

10. The ability to strategize and solve problems.
