Job Description

GPD is currently seeking a Civil Project Manager in our Virginia Beach, VA office location to provide management and coordination of Federal focused design programs.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess :

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years' experience
• Ability to maintain strong relationships with clients and coordinate with multidiscipline internal teams.
• Experience with project planning and project oversight through all phases of design and construction.
• Experience coordinating due diligence activities such as environmental, land survey, building assessments, and geotechnical studies.
• Ability to direct the development of site and building plans following client and governing codes or guidelines.
• Ability to effectively review site and building construction drawings to confirm client's scope of work is accurately reflected.
• Ability to work on various development projects in different stages simultaneously.
• Ability to proactively problem solve on the fly and provide forward-thinking solutions.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Experience preparing project schedules using a variety of scheduling software. Experience scheduling internal resources.
• Experience with developing and executing project designs within the required scope of work, fees, and contract obligations.
