To excel in this role, you should have at least one year of experience. Successful candidates will also have a learned approach, a steady hand, and a love for welding.
- MIG Weld on mild steel from 20 gauge to 1-inch thickness
- Produce hydraulic tanks, fuel tanks, fenders, platforms, and other sheet metal fabrications following work instructions
- Basic qualifications to be achieved during the training period include : D1.1 GMAW and D1.3 GMAW
- Ability to read Weld symbols, blueprints, and perform set-ups
- Select and use a variety of metal finishing tools (grinders, abrasives, etc.)
- Use of lifting and control devices (cranes, positioners, magnets, hooks, fixtures, templates, etc.) Qualification Requirements :
