AP Investigations and Data Analytics Manager

YOUR FOCUS (JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES) : As the Asset Protection Investigations and Data Analytics Manager at Victra, you will work within a corporate culture where Performance, Integrity, Collaboration, Innovation, and Celebration are the mantras of success.
In this role, you will :
Team Leadership and Development : Spearhead the development of a new Investigation Center, recruiting and training top-tier analysts while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and expertise in fraud investigation and compliance.
Fraud Detection and Analysis : Oversee the detection and investigation of fraud cases, including commission fraud, using EBR systems and other analytical tools.
Develop and refine detection strategies and algorithms, lead initial investigations in coordination with field teams, and perform reverse engineering based on identified issues.
Conduct thorough root cause analysis and provide recommendations for training programs or systemic changes to prevent future incidents.
Reporting Support and Investigative Assistance : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive reporting, including KPIs, risk profiles, and operational metrics, to support informed decision-making and enhance asset protection strategies.
Provide investigative assistance and support to field teams as needed, addressing fraud mitigation, deactivation reductions, inventory shortage reduction, cash loss, and other relevant aspects, ensuring a seamless flow of information and timely access to critical data decision-making and enhancing asset protection strategies.
Integrated Response Coordination : Serve as the central liaison for law enforcement, Verizon partners, and internal departments.
Manage and prioritize internal tickets, law enforcement requests, and internal theft, fraud, and compliance inquiries. Ensure all incidents are documented and resolved and comply with legal and company standards.
Systems and Technology Management : Serve as the system owner and administrator for non-equipment systems, including exception-based reporting, case management, and business continuity.
Overseeing design, implementation, upgrades, and maintenance. Oversee and enhance critical reporting and case management systems for efficiency and scalability, regularly assessing system performance and leading upgrades or integrations.
Strategic Reporting and Analytics : Utilize PowerBI, SharePoint, and other analytics tools to generate advanced reporting on KPIs, risk profiles, and investigation outcomes.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of reports for field teams, encompassing investigative KPIs, outlier data, and Asset Protection operational metrics.
Ensure report accuracy, currency, and validation, and distribute reports based on a defined cadence while responding to ad-hoc requests to drive informed decision-making and enhance asset protection strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field a plus, but not required (e.g., Business, Criminology, Data Science, Information Technology).
Significant experience in fraud analysis, investigations, or loss prevention, particularly in retail or sales environments.
Proficiency and desire to learn tools like PowerBI, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 and PowerPlatform software.
Proven ability to understand Information Technology processes and requirements to maintain and evolve technology systems successfully.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of legal standards and confidentiality requirements.
Ability to recruit, train, and lead on-site and remote, high-performance teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on report accuracy and validation.
System administration and management knowledge.
Ability to assess system performance and lead upgrades or integrations.
Effective organizational and multitasking skills.
Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently and create structure as needed.
