Job Summary
take orders, make drinks, and serve them to customers in a professional and quick manner
Job Tasks
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers
- Process payment from customers
- Clean glassware and bar utensils
- Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
- Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
- Open and maintain tabs throughout shift
- Build and maintain relationships with regular customers
Required knowledge and skills
- High energy level with a positive attitude
- Thoroughness and cleanliness
- Eager to work in a team environment with focus on delivering excellent customer service
- Physical ability to stand and walk during entire shift
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, especially nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
- Ability to enforce company policies regarding consumption of alcohol
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails
