Math Tutor / Teacher
Job description Mathnasium is looking for motivated, responsible, and passionate individuals to become part of our Dale City Center team;
to make a difference in the lives of students by helping them build strong math foundations, boost confidence, and achieve their goals!
Responsibilities Include :
- Teaching students in a 4 : 1 ratio
- Facilitating a productive educational environment
- Applying Mathnasium's teaching methods and curriculum to instruct students in grades K-12
- Assisting with math homework and test preparation
- Professionally interact with students to keep them focused

Job Requirements :
- Applicants must be 16 years of age or older
- Able to work opening shifts beginning at 3 : 00pm.
- Experience with children ages 5-17 is preferred but not required
- Math proficiency evaluation for math skills ranging up to Algebra I and Geometry

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
Compensation : $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
