Job Description Summary

Position Objective :

The Sales Account Manager-Structures is responsible for meeting defined monthly sales and revenue goals. This is accomplished by cultivating and developing a highly specific small group of strategic accounts to establish a recurring book of business.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Prospect, qualify, and generate sales within the company's established guidelines
  • Engage prospective companies and various decision-making levels to identify appropriate contacts, and qualifiers, and generate profitable deals through the sales pipeline
  • Conduct site surveys, work with contractors, and construction supervisors to define project specifications
  • Manage long sales' cycles (months and / or years) to secure high complex projects
  • Manage projects through the construction phase and remain engaged to identify upsell opportunities and serve as primary company liaison for questions
  • Grow strategic relationships with customers that result in additional products and accessories leveraged via the power of Sunbelt
  • Remain knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments in the company, industry, and market segments
  • Work closely with support staff, management, project management, construction, and warehouse teams to ensure appropriate communication on projects
  • Maintain accurate records within CRM and other Sunbelt systems
  • Follow established safety rules & regulations
  • Required prospecting activities include in person meetings, cold calling, networking, and attending trade shows.
  • Special / other projects as assigned by management

Requirements :

Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 10+ years sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 70% as needed

Base Pay Range : $40,927.25 - 69,261.50

Total compensation package includes base pay plus robust commission plan.

Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and / or experience.
