What You Do
- Profile finishing farms during sales periods to project sales of pigs according to desired marketing criteria
- Accurately manage inventory & during sale of hogs until farm is cleaned out and prepped for babies
- Must be able to communicate effectively with contract growers, truck dispatch, loading teams, regional service personnel & others of any changes in sales schedule immediately
- Follow all company guidelines for proper biosecurity
- Assist teammates in weighing of market hogs on a weekly basis
Who You Are :
- High School / GED required, Bachelor's degree in Agricultural related program preferred but not required
- Excellent written & verbal communication
- Computer literacy in all MS Office
- Keen eye for detail
- Self-motivated
- Clean driving record
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working around large animals
- Able to step over penning
- Able to stand and walk for the majority of each day
- Able to lift / push / pull up to 30lbs frequently, and 50lbs infrequently
- Able to work in inclement weather
