El Encanto Mexican Restaurants in Arizona is actively seeking a skilled, successful, creative and ambitious Director of Operations to manage all restaurant operations of three locations.
Successful applicant will be a strong leader with proven ability to connect with and promote a positive work environment where the whole team is held accountable.
El Encanto is family-owned and oriented company that supplies exceptional service in the most enchanting environments and it poised to continue growing.
This Director of Operations position earns a competitive salary of $80,000 to $100,000 / annually , plus quarterly bonuses (can be up to 20% of compensation)- all dependent on experience and proven performance.
A c andidate with significant experience, who requires little supervision and has the capacity to grow the business, will be in the higher salary and benefit range.
This position also has a company vehicle.
El Encanto is committed to a quality work-life balance . Our managers typically work a 40-45 hour work week. The Director of Operations will be required to work 50-55 hours per week in order to achieve success.

The original El Encanto Restaurant and Cantina opened in 1989 in the center of Cave Creek, Arizona. Its success allowed us to expand the Sights, Sounds, and Tastes of Mexico to two additional locations.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field preferred
Experience :
10+ year's experience in restaurant management 2+ year's experience managing multiple store locations
Other :
- Bilingual a plus, but not required
- Proven ability to create policies that generate profits in multiple retail sales locations
- Strong interpersonal communication and negotiations skills
- Ability to create and implement strong training programs
- Experience managing multiple locations and senior management staff
- The ability to bring innovation to develop and improve the operations of the El Encanto organization
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to handle the physical nature of the job, such as standing and walking for long periods, bending and twisting repeatedly, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
