Accounting Clerk
Selected candidates must pass a basic accounting aptitude test, an Excel test, and a Microsoft general skills test.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for supporting all accounting functions
Verify invoices for approval and make check disbursements
Remotely deposit checks and post to corresponding accounts
Assist with processing payroll
Typing emails, letters, memos, and other correspondence
Performing clerical and other related work as required
QUALIFICATIONS :
Associate degree in accounting and / or sound general accounting knowledge with equivalent experience
Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Aptitude to communicate with and work with diverse populations / cultures
Ability to identify problems and develop solutions
Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
Demonstrate ability to be proactive, diligent and reliable to meet deadlines
Experience with accounting software products such as Quickbooks
Proficient in Microsoft Office : Outloook, Word, Excel

Monday to Friday 9 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., New York, NY. This position is not eligible for remote work.
Salary - 24.00 - 25.00 / hr
