Class B Delivery Truck Driver
Compensation : Starting pay - $29.47 / Hour
Position Summary :
Responsible for the safe operation of company equipment and timely, courteous delivery of product to our customers.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to :
- Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle
- Use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and / or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such asan electric pallet jack and / or hand truck
- Maneuver vehicle and equipment in congested areas with limited space and potential obstacles
- Unload and deliver products to our customer utilizing various methodologies that may include manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environments
- Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnel
- Complete delivery and pick up paperwork
- Pick up returned product as required
- Collect company assets to include payments, carts, pallets, etc.
- Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
- Complete company training and certifications as required
- Effectively communicate and maintain contact with shift supervisor, dispatch, and / or co-workers
- Other projects or duties as assigned
