The Corporate Information Services Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Project Coordinator Information Technology Consultant for a 6 month contract assignment.

With guidance from supervisor, The Project Coordinator IT participates as liaison between the information services team and facility staff on various IT initiatives.

Coordinates activities associated with the management and completion of various information services projects. Frequently communicates with facility leadership, local IT, and corporate information services team members.

Provides active participation in the entire project life cycle or selected components. Provides customer support, training, and technical services as assigned.

Key Responsibilities include :

• Performs data collection for primary projects, meets with team members to plan project work, and updates project tracking documentation.
• Communicates project goals and timelines with hospital staff, coordinates task completion and ensures project stays on track.
• Coordinates project work with vendors, orders and ensures delivery and return of equipment.
• Assists team with additional project management needs.

Qualifications

Required :

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) necessary for completion of project goals, coordinating tasks with others and providing progress reports
• Strong customer service skills necessary for managing project tasks to be completed by others
• Ability to complete individual tasks required for the project.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and capable of independent thinking.
• Experience with common business softwareMicrosoft Office, Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)
• Data collection and information reporting.
• Familiar with PC hardware and operating system function and basic support
• Familiar with computer networks
• Comfortable working on an annual repeating project without variation of work.

Desired :

• Technical project management experience or project lead
• Basic understanding of computer information systems and able to communicate with technical staff
• Bachelor’s degree, and / or professional certifications
• Critical thinking skills

Travel Requirements : Minimal if any travel anticipated.
