Job Description :

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Cashier / Sales Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities :

• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• Ring up purchases accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
• Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment securely.
• Assist customers in finding products and making recommendations based on their needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Answer customer questions and address any concerns they may have.
• Promote current sales, promotions, and events to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness as needed.
• Uphold company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, returns, and exchanges.

Requirements :

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Education / Training :

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience :

Prior cashier experience is preferred, and customer service experience is highly valued.

Physical Demands :

This role involves standing, walking, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and occasional climbing.
