Job Summary :

Location : Pleasanton, CA 94588

Work Schedule : M-F, 8am to 5pm

Type : Temp / Temp to hire / Full Time

Pay rate : $45 to $50 / hour

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to :

Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in staffing and recruitment, with a proven track record in business development across IT, non-IT, and healthcare domains. This role requires excellent communication and networking skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Market Research & Analysis : Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends in IT, non-IT, and healthcare staffing.
  • Client Acquisition : Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients. Identify and pursue potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Serve as the main point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth : Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth. Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the client base and increase market share.
  • Proposal Development : Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients. Negotiate contracts and terms of business.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure client requirements are understood and met. Provide guidance and support to recruiters to align with client needs.
  • Reporting & Documentation : Maintain accurate records of business development activities, client interactions, and sales performance. Prepare regular reports for management review.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years of business development experience in the staffing industry, with a focus on IT, non-IT, and healthcare domains.
  • Skills :
  • Strong understanding of staffing industry trends and market dynamics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Travel : Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
