Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
- Pre-plan of work activities to meet contract schedule and quality requirements.
- Provide leadership and direction to field crews.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth workflow.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and quality of work.
- Manage construction personnel, providing leadership and guidance to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with project Owners, DOT, and Resident Engineers to address and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent in the Heavy Civil Construction Industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to project challenges.
- Through knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work being performed, OSHA 30 Cert.
- BS - Civil Engineer / Construction Management
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Minimum of 8+ years' experience in Bridge, Road, Heavy Civil Infrastructure or Heavy / Highway construction.
