Job Overview The Human Resources Manager will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team in driving company results via hiring practices and talent initiatives that are tied with business objectives.

They will deliver key HR programs and services including talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits planning, and engagement / retention strategies.

The role is based in Los Angeles and reports to the Chief Executive Officer. Job Responsibilities Supports departments in developing and delivering strategic HR plans that fit with the overall business direction Leads end-to-end talent acquisition strategy and execution across verticals including creative / strategy, experiential, accounts, talent / partnerships, and operations Maintains a robust onboarding process, partnering with operations and finance leads to deliver an engaging and effective new hire orientation Supports contractor identification, onboarding, and compliance Leads performance management initiatives across the organization including annual performance reviews, wage reviews, and performance improvement plans Partners with leadership on career-mapping, goal-setting, and employee growth and development Provides resources and support to leadership and employees in navigating employee relations issues Designs and facilitates engaging training programs to enhance professional development and address skill gaps and business inefficiencies Stays abreast on market trends, and creates and updates compensation and total rewards strategy for all employees Acts as primary administrator on company benefits and HRIS Administers leaves of absence, ensuring compliance and coordination of state and company benefits Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, in partnership with legal counsel Develops clear policies and ensures they are communicated and enforced across the organization Oversees workplace investigations, terminations, and disciplinary matters Maintains detailed and compliant records and personnel files Job Qualifications 6-8 years of experience in Human Resources Proven experience with full-cycle recruitment for creative / agency roles Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred Experience working in an agency or start-up environment, building process and establishing best practices for a growing organization Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws Proven experience designing and facilitating effective and engaging employee trainings Experience conducting workplace investigations, terminations, and overseeing disciplinary matters Exceptional written / verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills Adept at problem solving and conflict resolution Experience strategically partnering and coaching executives on human resources issues Technologically savvy with the ability to adapt quickly to agency systems Benefits 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance 401(k), flexible spending account, wellness stipend, and creative stipend Hybrid work schedule Discretionary PTO, sick leave, and paid parental leave Pay Range : $100-125K per year Powered by JazzHR
