Hybrid Role : At Home Office three days a week. Remote two
The Site Merchandising manager develops and oversees the online merchandising and product strategies. This role will drive sales, conversion, site productivity and improve the customer shopping experience through product merchandising, navigation, cross-sells, upsells, promotions, refinements and other merchandising opportunities.
The Site Merchandising Manager partners with merchandising, marketing and operations teams on product strategies and execution.
The Site Merchandising Manager will optimize and oversee the Online Product Lifecycle Process. The role will assist the Sr.
Site Merchandising manager in delegating tasks, organizing work, communicating goals and managing cross departmental projects.
The Site Merchandising Manager will manage a team of site merchants and product optimization specalists.
Primary Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the presentation of the online assortment, including product information, category information and website merchandising to influence sales and conversion, while balancing marketing initiatives and brand focus.
- Maintain site navigation, including creating and removing categories as needed based on merchandising, marketing strategies and web analytics.
- Oversee merchandising strategies for marketplaces
- Monitor and review promotions for improvements
- Analyze sales and web analytics on a quarterly, monthly, weekly and adhoc basis
- Partner w / Digital Search Team to positively impact conversion and sales through search results
- Responsible for improving and maintaining a cross functional online product lifecycle process
- Grows internal talent through mentoring peers and assists in new team member onboarding
- Stays current with Ecommerce, Market & Industry Trends
- Perform all other assigned duties
Core Competencies & Accomplishments
- Bachelor’s Degree Required, Merchandising or Digital Retailing preferred
- 5+ years of ecommerce merchandising experience
- Experience with Salesforce (or similar ecom platforms), Web Analytics Tools (Adobe Analytics preferred), Excel
- Strategic thinker with the ability to clearly articulate and implement a focused plan
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence and drive decision making process
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail that is adaptable and flexible
- Can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing a team
- Experience working in retail
