Gothic Landscape is looking for an HR Business Partner to support our largest construction Office in Phoenix, AZ. the individual selected will have a significant role in supporting the field and office operations as well as the Executive Management Team.

Highlights of what our HR Business Partner will do :

• Responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management.
• Supporting the day-to-day Human Resources operations surrounding recruitment / selection, onboarding, training & development, and employee relations.
• Supports local hiring, including :
• Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Schedule interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
• Employee Development
• Visit job sites and field employees to build relationships with HR team.
• Oversee and manage onboarding to ensure that new employees are welcomed and prepared for their new role.
• Develop and facilitate training and developing managers and other employees. Assist with Career Development plans.
• Employee Morale
• Supports local events to build relationships.
• Supports local rewards and recognition programs.
• People Analysis
• Supports succession planning and hiring needs projections.
• Supports and ensures proper job terminations.
• Partner with VP of HR to ensure the office is aligned with Company policies & procedures as well as the strategic goals related to talent acquisition, hiring practices, employee & career development, and training.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Five (5) to eight (8) years of HR experience with at least two (2) years of experience in both talent acquisition and HR Business Partner experience.
• Bilingual English / Spanish is required.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated influence and diplomacy at all levels.
• Passion for field-based businesses and the practicality they require.
• Previous experience in coaching and mentoring management and employees.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic, positive, and friendly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build partnerships
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
