The Maintenance Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Intern position is designed for individuals who have acquired the specific technical knowledge from a formal Electrical / Instrumentation curriculum yielding a two-year Technical Degree, but lack the experience required to be considered for the fully experienced E&I Technician position.
The qualified E&I Intern position will be responsible for the safe operation and repair of electrical power and control systems and will perform preventative, routine and troubleshooting E&I maintenance in a high-speed manufacturing facility while ensuring a safe and multi-functional team environment.

Instrumentation and Control Devices (Pressure, Flow, Level Temperature, etc.)High Speed Equipment Utilizing Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical Controls

In one of our maintenance roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications :
- Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States
- Must have a two (2) year Technical Degree in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) concentrating in Key Studies such as Programmable Logic Control, Motor Controls, Distributed Control Systems, Variable Frequency Drives, and Process Control.
Successful candidate must be able to show the related Curriculum studied that produced the Technical Degree OR successful completion of a formal, Manufacturing Apprenticeship Program that concentrated in the Electrical & Instrumentation field with the same Key Studies listed.
- Competent in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, single line diagrams, and circuit diagrams.
- Have basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and good math skills.
- Can maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening.
