Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.

They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.

Responsibilities :

• Patrol and monitor the data center premises to detect and deter unauthorized access or suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of security equipment and systems to ensure functionality and compliance.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, following established protocols and procedures.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of security incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
• Collaborate with fellow security team members and management to implement and enhance security measures and protocols.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security is a plus
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred for higher-level positions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Pay Range :

• Entry-level Security Officers : Starting at $18 per hour.
• Experienced Security Officers : Compensation based on experience, ranging from $19.25 to $21.75 per hour.
• Shift Supervisors : Compensation starting at $23 per hour, with potential for growth based on performance.
