Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Agency: Pioneer Healthcare Services
Pay: $2,037 to $2,100 per week
Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours
Start Date: 7/26/2026

About the Position

If you want to make a significant impact as a Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Indianapolis, IN this position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and specialized nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in the ICU.
  • Operate and manage advanced life support equipment, including ventilators, intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) machines.
  • Assist with invasive procedures such as arterial line placement, central venous catheter insertion, and intubation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided in electronic health systems.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, patient safety guidelines, and infection control measures.
  • Proficiency in managing cardiac and post-operative cardiovascular patients.
Qualifications:
  • IN Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
  • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an ICU setting (CVICU experience preferred)
