- Corporate Controller position available in Marlborough, MA. This is a direct hire opportunity with a pay range of $110-130K SUMMARY *The controller position is responsible for the accounting operations of the company and has direct and / or indirect supervision of the Finance Department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, invoicing and credit / collections and is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.*RESPONSIBILITIES : *
- Obtain and maintain financial reporting and general ledger structure
- Supervise the daily operations of payroll
- Analyze delinquent accounts, provide recommendations for resolution and
- Ensure an accurate and timely quarterly and year end close
- Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly / quarterly financial information
- Assist the Treasurer in the daily banking requirements
- Support budget and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with the finance department managers
- Monitor and develop more efficient procedures
- Respond to inquiries from the Executive Management team
- Work with the Treasurer to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit
- Supervise the general ledger group
- Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures
- Provided training to new and existing staff as needed
