We are seeking a role supporting the Navy Organizational Effectiveness and Assessment effort for the Office of Warfighting Advantage.
The U.S.
Navy Office of Warfighting Advantage (OWA) is an organization established by the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) staff to help the Navy learn faster, fix process bottlenecks, align resources with fleet priorities, and gain a decisive edge over adversaries.
This project will involve both assessment of Navy incidents and tracking and resolution of investigation actions to drive organizational learning and continuous improvement for the DoW.
This is a client-facing, on-site role within the Pentagon (4-5 days per week) and will require strong communication, client engagement and presentation skills with Navy stakeholders.
Navy Assessments analysis - refer to the data collection, analysis, interviews, and recommendations created after an investigation into a major incident concludes.
The intent of an Assessment is to determine the adoption rate and effectiveness of those recommendations and any further action required to hold stakeholders accountable to change and to position the Navy to get ahead of preventable issues.
Tracking and resolution refers to the development and management of a system to identify and record progress with recommendation implementation.
Adopting these recommendations often involves a complex web of stakeholders, obstacles to implementation, and incomplete records or data that can be improved with a more standardized tracking and resolution system or process.
Responsibilities: Strong communication skills written and verbal presentation skills Proficient in SharePoint document management (Including understanding how to build and manage large document libraries) Document current state issues and processes Strong skills in OSINT research, data analysis, and report writing Working knowledge of DoW and/or Navy structure and terminology Experience with ETMS2, CATMS, or a comparable tasker tracking system Experience with root cause analysis, risk frameworks, and/or metrics development.
Strong core consulting skills: Structured problem solving Professional client interaction Brief development Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint Qualifications: Degree: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: General Experience: Strategy, Transformation at Scale, Data Engineering, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, USN Subject Matter Expertise Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Business/Economics, Marketing and Public Affairs, Communications, Complex Problem Solving, Analytics, & Graphics Support.
Specific Experience: Data Science, Data Visualization (e.g., Qlik/Tableau), User Experience/Interface Design, Data & Systems Engineering (e.g., Databricks and Trifacta) This position requires the ability to maintain the required U.S.
government security clearance throughout employment.
