JOB DESCRIPTION
Actalent is seeking a Facility Security Officer for one of our clients in support of the DOD . Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of Fleet Operational Special Access Programs (SAP) Security experience in positions held such as Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) , Command Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO) , Command Government Program Manager (CGPM) or assistant roles to those listed.
This position also allows exciting travel and Fleet engagement opportunities , consisting of about 15% travel annually!
Job Description :
- Perform all related administrative actions required for the DoN's Program Access Request (PAR) process utilizing the DoD SAP Nomination Process (SAPNP) criteria.
- Perform data entry for the submission of a PAR, completed Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA), and facility information utilizing the Joint Access Database System (JADS) and Joint Access Database Enterprise (JADE).
- Track the approval process, maintain status, and obtain signatures as required and provide PAR tracking status metrics to the Government Program Security Officer (PSO) upon request.
- Manage incoming / outgoing visit certifications / requests for staff and guests. Facilitate visitor access to the facility.
- Ensure facility spaces meet required physical security standards, report discrepancies to facility GSSO.
- Correctly manage material and equipment in team custody.
