Description
The Role :
The ArmorPoint Marketing team is in search of a Marketing Operations Manager to own the systems and processes that power marketing campaigns and directly accelerate revenue growth.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role is highly collaborative and manages the technology stack that supports prospect, customer, and partner communications led by marketing, inside sales, sales operations, and service management teams.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the setup, configuration, and management of marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), Salesforce Sales Engagement (FKA Salesforce High Velocity Sales), ZoomInfo, Chorus, BeeFree, and similar tools to streamline prospect, customer, and partner facing campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product to create and execute automated marketing campaigns that target key segments and personas
- Analyze and optimize marketing automation workflows to improve lead generation, lead nurturing, and conversion rates throughout the marketing and sales funnels
- Manage the integration of marketing automation platforms with CRM systems (, Salesforce) to ensure seamless data flow and accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and customers
- Develop and manage audience segmentation efforts to deliver personalized marketing messages tailored to distinct audience segments and customer lifecycle stages
- Create and deploy new CRM / lifecycle automation to support cross-departmental (, sales, marketing, customer experience) goals
- Drive the execution of database re-engagement, cold and targeted outbound communications, and other growth initiatives, employing automation to streamline processes and scale operations effectively
- Develop and maintain documentation for marketing automation processes, including standard operating procedures, best practices, and guidelines for internal stakeholders
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to marketing automation initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Train and support marketing and sales teams in using marketing automation tools effectively, including providing guidance on campaign setup, segmentation, and A / B testing
- Create and import audience lists from ZoomInfo for campaign targeting and optimize lists based on our Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP)
- Responsible for technical management of all marketing and customer communication campaigns, including : Campaign creation architecture Form creation and tracking Build and schedule one-off emails and engagement studios Lead management Target list creation and segmentation
- Drive email program builds and execution, including : Building emails using BeeFree Creating UTMs for tracking Manage operational emails for product alerts and outages
- Provide ongoing review of marketing systems and reporting tools to ensure performance metrics are updated and accurate
- Consolidate data from a variety of sources including website traffic, social media engagement and campaigns. Design best in class data infrastructure to report on marketing performance
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track marketing KPIs and measure campaign efficacy
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Possess 3-5 years’ experience in marketing or sales operations, preferably in SaaS / software, B2B, or regulated industry
- Experience architecting and operating core marketing technology stack, specifically with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), with a deep understanding of CRM functionalities, automation, and data management
- A strong understanding of email marketing, inbound marketing, account-based marketing, and marketing analytics
- A strong understanding and experience with maintaining healthy email deliverability hygiene, domain reputation, and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other regulatory frameworks
- Track record of translating qualitative data into recommendations and plans for lead generation campaigns to improve marketing effectiveness
- Knowledge of various project management technologies ( Asana), preferably with hands-on experience
- Ability to work autonomously as needed, as well as ability to collaborate effectively with marketing leadership, marketers, sales and sales operations team to drive and to influence pipeline and revenue growth
