Position Summary :

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be a reliable and precise professional to help support the Accounting department and properly maintain Accounts Payable.   This position will be responsible for matching Invoices to PO’s and work with branches to resolve discrepancies and assist them in helping them to use the system efficiently.  This position will work with vendors to resolve past due invoices and reconcile monthly statements with vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Working with Branches as they learn how to effectively use PO’s
• Entering invoices into NAV
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Maintain vendor files
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• Prepare and perform check runs
• Assist with the month end close
• Assist in identifying and implementing efficient accounts payable processes
• Work with vendors to obtain electronic vendor invoices for upload capabilities
• Works core business hours for availability to branches and vendors
• Perform other duties as assigned

This position is largely a sedentary role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, and scanners. This role is fully in-office, Monday-Friday.

Compensation :

The pay range listed is the base pay range that Satellite Shelters, inc / Satellite Industries, Inc. reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
