ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/RECEIVABLE CLERK

Brown-Daub Dealership has an immediate opening for Experienced Accounts Receivable / Payable Clerk at our DODGE location in Bath, PA What's the Brown-Daub advantage?

We are looking for highly motivated, experienced AR / AP Clerk that is energetic, friendly, reliable and will help make our team even stronger! Job Summary : This individual will help support the Office Manager, Accounting Department and dealership through performing essential accounts payable and receivable functions.

Responsibilities : Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval. Prepares accounts payable checks. Posts all open items in accounts payable on a daily basis.

Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files. Reconciles statement and ledgers to ensure payments are consistent with dealership schedules.

Communicates cash requirements for payable dates to the office manager. Audits freight bills against freight inquiries. Analyzes vendor accounts and answers all inquiries.

Assists in monthly closings. Prepares analysis of accounts, as required. Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary.

Maintains a professional appearance according to our dress code. Prepares cash deposits. Prepares accounts receivable statements monthly.

Processes daily credit card deposits. Researches and processes charge backs, returns, and bad checks. Answers accounts receivable phone calls and follows up on inquiries.

Inputs used vehicles into the computer system as directed by the office manager. Posts fuel credits on a daily basis and reconciles the fuel schedule.

Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications / Skills : Two (2) years’ accounting experience required. Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds a plus.

Prior Dealership experiences a plus. Excellent verbal / written, interpersonal and customer communication skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Maintain a clean and neat work space and uphold Brown-Daub standards at all times. Physical Requirements : Must be able to sit / stand for extended periods of time.

Must be able to bend and twist (ie : filing) and lift up 10 lbs. on occasion.
