SWBC is seeking a talented individual to administer the company Salesforce application by providing technical support to internal business stakeholders (senior management and system users) and coordinating system administration functions with IT personnel.

Essential duties include the following :

  • Administers overall setup, configuration and maintenance of the Salesforce.com platform for the various divisions.
  • Serve as daily monitor for the internal Salesforce Support inbox, acting as Tier 2 help desk researching and diagnosing user issues.

Disposition of items as Hot Fixes or deferred to the backlog as PBI.

  • Performs system administration functions such as user management (profiles and roles), field and validation rule configuration, record types, picklists, page layout management, mobile setup, data management (uploads), email templates, folder management, and public groups, as well as other configuration items.
  • Work with custom workflow, notifications, approval processes, and Lightning Process Builder.
  • Develop reports and dashboards for various teams and departments throughout the organization. Guide them with self-service report writing and dashboard maintenance.
  • Participates in cross-functional agile team that address strategic business issues involving CRM.
  • Participates in monthly development sprint including design documentation and testing.
  • Maintains multiple user profiles, role hierarchy, security, and sharing rules, and other Salesforce.com out-of-the-box access features.
  • Perform data integrity (rules and merging records) functions establishing proper ownership and record type maintenance in accordance with sales territories.
  • Supports the training department with new material for end users on the Salesforce.com application. When called upon, help to train the new and existing users how to use SFDC and related applications.
  • Conduct QA Tests on changes to Salesforce.com deployment including managing multiple sandbox instances
  • Maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users in the system to understand cross-functional impacts with regard to configuration, process, workflow and reporting.
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users.
  • Work with Data Integrity and Duplicate Management to help clean and dedupe lead, contact and account data.
  • Participate in with user requirement sessions and document user requirements to address changing business needs. Review design approach with Product Manager.
  • Contribute on the technical side of business projects and create solutions to meet challenges (including performing detailed analysis of technical and business requirements).
  • Build strong understanding of SFDC best practices and functionality.
  • Keep abreast of new of new SFDC features and functionality, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Maintain technical knowledge by using Trailhead, attending educational workshops and reviewing related publications, when available.
  • Act as SFDC SME for our Help Desk and Technical Support teams.
  • System Administration in supporting an organization larger than 250 employees and working on cross-functional projects with sales or support team experience.
  • Must have close attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team on various projects.
  • Experience performing data cleanup and / or data migration to and from Salesforce.com.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree required with concentration in Information Technology or Business.
  • Should have at least five (5) years' hands-on experience with Salesforce.com platform.
  • Salesforce ADM-201 certification (Certified Administrator) required at-hire or within 6-months; Salesforce ADM-301 certification (Certified Advanced Administrator) preferred and required within 1-year.
  • Experience with APEX and VisualForce preferred.
  • Understanding of relational databases and data integration tools.
  • Understanding of data mappings (source to target) for integrations.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Should have familiarity with agile development team practices, tools, and framework.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to collaborate with people.
  • Experience engaging with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include a working knowledge Microsoft Excel's advanced functions (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables & Charts).
  • Experience working with Microsoft TFS (Team Foundation Server), or other related Agile Project Management software (e.g.

Confluence, Trello, A-Ha, JIRA, and Liquid Planner) preferred.

  • Comfortable in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations.
  • Able to sit and stand for long periods of time while performing duties.
  • Able to lift 10-20 lbs. of operating manuals, computers, monitors, or other such items.
