AbouttheRole

Taskedwith executing intricate accounting tasks it entails communicatingfinancial specifics to management ensuring adherence to legal andregulatory requirements in financial procedures records andstatements.

Additionally it involves furnishing precise financialdata to the Controller and management overseeing the preparationreview and analysis of accounting transactions and monthend closeprocesses.

Furthermore it includes aiding in the preparation offinancial reports tax documents and other assignedprojects.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance tothe Controller and Assistant Controller in various accounting tasksas required.
• Assist with month end closeprocess (inventory and some productcosting)
• Conducts daily cashreconciliations and ensures completion of monthly bankreconciliations.
• Maintains reconciliations forbalance sheet accounts in the generalledger.
• Prepares journal entries formonthend close encompassing prepaids accruals deferred itemsamortization fixed assets and intercompany transactions accompaniedby supporting documentation.
• Prepares and submits reports forBusiness Personal PropertyDeclaration.
• Generates detailed analysis andexplanations of accountingtransactions.
• Compiles workpapers anddocumentation for external auditors including conducting researchand participating in projects asassigned.
• Adheres to established accountingprocesses and procedures within thecompany.
• Contributes insights andimplements changes to enhance existing accounting processes andprocedures.
• Assists management in completingadhoc projects as well as month and yearend reports asrequired.
• Undertakes special projectsassigned by the Executiveteam.
• Performs any other duties asassigned.

CandidateRequirements

• Bachelor'sdegree in Accounting.
• 3 years experience in a staff orsenior accountant role
• Extreme attention to detail andexcellent communication skills. Must possess strong analytical andproblemsolving skills independence and motivation to complete tasksby the required deadlines.
• Must be proficient in timemanagement and able to organize and manage multiplepriorities.
• Ability to take initiative andeffectively adapt to changes includinginterruptions
• Able to establish and maintain acooperative workingrelationship.
• Strong proficiency with MS Excelrequired including VLOOKUP Pivot Data Filters and DataExtracts / Imports
