We are looking for a seasoned EMR Analyst to join our dynamic team within the medical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our EMR system to ensure efficient, secure, and effective patient data management.

This role requires a strong understanding of medical office operations, HIPPA regulations, and web-based applications. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field, with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges.

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain EMR systems to ensure efficient, secure, and effective patient data management.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with HIPPA regulations and other relevant standards.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and enhancements, and work with the IT team to implement these changes.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure they can effectively use the EMR system.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of EMR systems and propose the adoption of new technologies or methodologies where appropriate.
• Participate in the development and execution of disaster recovery plans.
• Document all system changes and updates for future reference and auditing purposes.

Qualifications :

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an EMR Analyst, Applications Analyst or similar role within the healthcare industry.
• Extensive experience with web-based applications and medical office operations.
• In-depth knowledge of HIPPA regulations and their application in a healthcare setting.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain EMR systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify and resolve system issues quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• A relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field would be an advantage.
