Position : 1 3 years’ experienceThis position is available starting immediately to October 31, 2024. The AssistantOur client, a prestigious local Boston-based University, has an immediate need for a contract Communications Administrative Coordinator, working with colleagues across a number of University departments, schools, colleges, and programs.

In this role, the right candidate will : Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Digital Engagement Team within the University’s Development & Alumni Relations Office (DAR) with the intake, creation, proofing, and deployment of email communications.

  • Collaborate with partners across DAR and BU’s schools and colleges to ensure the successful delivery of digital communications to the right alumni audiences.
  • Aid in the management of the internal email calendar to avoid audience overlap and exhaustion.
  • Help write, design, and build content across multiple communications channels including email, social media, and websites.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • BA / BS or equivalent with 1 3 years of experience in email marketing or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and experience working with a CMS.
  • Understanding of digital marketing best practices.
  • Experience with data analysis and translation and ability to present data effectively.
  • Experience with programs like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Must be detail- and deadline-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple daily tasks.

Preferred Skills and Experience :

  • Familiarity with an email marketing program e.g., Anthology.
  • Encompass / iModules, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, etc.
  • Some familiarity in responsive web design and mobile optimization.
