About the Role : An Events Assistant at Brand Avenue is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various events.
This role involves working closely with the events team to ensure that all aspects of events run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, including corporate events, conferences, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure all event details are managed effectively.
- Support on-site event setup, registration, and teardown activities.
- Maintain event budgets and track expenses to ensure events are cost-effective.
- Create and distribute event materials, such as invitations, agendas, and promotional items.
- Handle event inquiries and provide excellent customer service to attendees and participants.
- Assist with post-event evaluations and reports to improve future events.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Flexible schedule to accommodate event needs, including occasional evenings and weekends.
