Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer Lead IV in San Antonio, TX.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : The Software Developer Lead IV informs product decisions by applying an understanding of data pipeline techniques and issues, including Application Programming Interface (API) access and integration;

pre-processing; cloud security, process, and schema optimization; and the pros and cons of programming languages and associated packages.

They direct and encourage the Engineering Team to promptly deliver best-in-class technical solutions. They leverage or build cloud-based architectures, technologies, and / or platforms to deliver optimized machine learning (ML)-backed solutions at scale.

They communicate with the Technical Project Manager to interpret customer requirements and assign engineering tasks accordingly and collaborate with the Technical Project Manager and team members to architect solutions that exceed customer expectations.

They design and develop cloud-based software solutions designed to ingest and process data from various sources and contribute to solutions that provide predictive models with raw data.

The Software Developer Lead IV is an SME with expertise in all phases of application development. The Software Developer Lead IV supervises, and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.

Minimum Experience : 12 years of related experienceMinimum Education : BS / BAAllowed Experience Exchange : HS and 16 years of experience;

Associates and 14 years of experienceAllowed Education Exchange : A candidate holding a relevant Masters’ degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education.

A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education.Required Certifications7 years of position-specific relevant experience.

DoD 8570.01-m Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification. Bachelor’s degree in software development or related discipline.

Desired CertificationsMaster’s degree in computer science, Software Development, or related discipline. 5 years of experience in an Agile development environment.

Security Clearance Requirements : UnclassifiedPhysical Requirements : Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

For all positions requiring access to technology / software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.
