Position Expectations

We are currently seeking highly motivated Marketing Associate to join our team and support our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for marketing.

Specific Job Functions :

• Market Research and Strategy :
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance company branding and market presence.
• Campaign Management and Analytics :
• Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
• Produce, distribute, and track engagement on weekly social media content.
• Content Creation and Distribution :
• Ownership of internal and external communications including memos, newsletters, and draft content for press releases and company website.
• Produce and publish articles on company and industry-related news.
• Event and Promotional Activities :
• Coordinate the organization of events, conferences, trade shows, seminars, and other promotional activities.
• Secure speaking positions for team members at relevant conferences and industry events to enhance brand visibility.
• Support the C-Suite by coordinating their meeting schedules during conferences and ensuring all engagements are executed smoothly.
• Maintain relationships with external vendors and agencies involved in promotional operations.
• Operational Support :
• Provide support to the operations manager as needed.
• Collaborate across teams to brainstorm new ideas and initiatives to support and enhance the company’s goals.

Requirements :

• Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience :
• Prior experience in marketing or a related role is preferred.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or other design platforms.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in HTML and CSS.
• Skills :
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various marketing software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Creative thinker with a passion for marketing and branding.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity or knowledge of the solar energy industry is a plus.

Location

This position will be staffed out of Soltage’s headquartered in Jersey City, NJ.
