Description

Markon is seeking a Process Manager to support an Intelligence customer project manage existing business processes within the customer's IT project and portfolio management system suite (Oracle Primavera Suite).

Responsibilities :

  • Manage all aspects of business data and processes captured within the Oracle Primavera Suite and serve as a knowledge expert for user base.
  • Oversee phases of customer billing / invoicing process
  • Manage the creation, review, and analysis of IT requirements for customer systems.
  • Provide portfolio and project management analysis for select customer organizations.
  • Responsible for collaborating with customers and developers to produce and mature reports utilized across the organization.
  • Perform routine quality control and data integrity checks regarding Primavera and billing information.
  • Provide communication tasking across customer user base.
  • Translate and communicate complex technical documentation and subject matter between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understand and assist in customer process and system integration.
  • Perform short and long-range planning in support of existing and future requirements to enhance customer systems.
  • Perform testing for newly implemented processes.
  • Help prioritize data and functional needs based on user and business management input regarding mission impacts and organizational goals.
  • Be prepared to present all IT documentation to management (as needed to document systems concepts of operation, functional requirements, processes, legacy systems, and methodologies).
  • Provide ad hoc demos and training to user base.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably within business analyst, project management, or business operations fields. Additional training in the Information Technology field, specifically around application development is highly desirable.
  • Ability to translate stakeholder’s visions and desires into project requirements, user stories, project objectives, and tasks.
  • Ability to manage task assignment to project resources and reporting on and managing project scope throughout the lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of collaboration, process, and visualization tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Visio
  • Ability to effectively decompose requirements into programmable user stories
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Experience
  • Experience with IT services, the software development life cycle (SDLC), or technology deployments for federal government agencies, a plus.
  • Personality or self-management Skills with ability to work closely with clients in a shared working environment
  • Excellent communications, technical writing, and interpersonal skills are critical
  • Strong customer relationship skills
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively along a broad spectrum from executive management to support staff
  • Strong listening and analytical skills a must
