Job Description : Your Piece of the Puzzle

As NFM’s Senior Test Automation Engineer you will be responsible for working with various platforms and microservices to maintain established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance.

Create and maintain test cases and automation scripts, execute the scripts, validate the results, document problems, and communicate findings.

This is a remote position requiring the candidate to reside in NE, IA, MO. KS or TX.

Job Duties : A Day in the Life

Create : Develop, maintain, and execute repeatable and reusable test automation scripts while utilizing various programming or scripting languages.

Not just record & playback. Develop, Maintain, and execute repeatable and reusable automated load testing and performance testing scripts

• Model : Test applications deployed through web browsers and containers- Docker
• Plan : Design and create and write test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria
• Lead : Execute API Testing by using tools like Postman, swagger etc.
• Collaborate : Participate in all aspects of a full-life cycle development methodology, and related quality concepts and processes

Qualifications : Can You Check These Boxes?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
• Certifications from recognized testing associations are a plus
• 4+ years of experience in a Testing / Quality Assurance / Performance Tuning / High Availability role
• 2+ years of test automation and script maintenance experience
• Experience testing web applications, running performance and load tests
• Experience using TestArchitect, Playwright, Postman preferred
• Experience using various software testing strategies to perform functional and non-functional testing
• Experience implementing test automation frameworks
• Experience working in an agile development environment preferred
• Experience with basic SQL, Azure, Azure DevOps or similar technologies preferred
• Experienced with HTML / CSS / JavaScript
