Senior Manager Engineering
We are a Healthcare Data Analytics company looking for the Sr Manager of Engineering. In this role you will lead, direct, and manage the day-to-day operations of a software engineers and TPO's. You will work closely with the enterprise data management teams, IT, engineering, Client Services teams, and Clinical operations teams. You will manage all the operational aspects of the software development to ensure business and project objectives are met and delivered on time. You will provide administrative, technical, and people leadership for multiple, diverse, and geographically distributed teams. You are responsible for providing feedback to the team and individuals on their performance.
Responsibilities
- Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that is able to assist in employing best in class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan as well as special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Ensure NCQA certification measures are certified annually on time and deliver supporting functionalities completed on time and according to our quality standards.
- Ensure engineers follow the defined Cotiviti SDLC standards
- Coordinate with IT, DBA to get the daily requests of your team members fulfilled.
- Participate in root cause analysis for the issues encountered and make sure that permanent fix is applied.
- Continuously look for process improvement and optimization opportunities keeping the big picture in mind that can help reduce delivery time and operational cost for the organization.
- Participate in requirement collection, architectural discussions and collaborate with team members to maintain consistency across the Quality Products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to find areas of opportunities for automation and quality improvement
- Provide regular update to management and peers about the ongoing project and enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.8+ years of hands-on experience in software developmentMinimum of 4+ years of management experience with increasing level of responsibility and oversight.Experience estimating and planning software development projects including risk management and integration plans.Experience working in an agile environment.Demonstrated experience with managing offshore development teamDemonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks simultaneouslyExtremely motivated, results oriented individual that is very self-directed and comfortable thinking and reacting quicklyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to influence at all levelsMental Requirements :
