The systems onboard our aircraft play an integral part on any successful air mission. It’s the job of MHU-139 Electrical, Environmental and Avionics Technician specialists to provide the precision maintenance necessary to keep each of these systems running perfectly.
These experts utilize a variety of methods, including schematic and wiring diagrams, to ensure these systems are able to meet the needs of the pilots throughout every mission.
- Operate and maintain communication, navigation and missions systems
- Remove, install, check and repair avionics systems and line replaceable units
- Diagnose malfunctions using test systems and equipment
- Prepare aircraft for covert operations and reconnaissance
- Review maintenance data to determine possible trends

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY
MINIMUM EDUCATION
A High School Senior (age 17 or older)*, High school diploma, a GED, or 15 college semester hours
High School Students may start their application as early as the end of their junior year.
