Job Responsibilities
- Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plans.
- Ensure policies comply with federal and state law, accreditations, and licensure requirements.
- Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs.
- Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting compliance.
- Recruits, screens, contacts references, interviews (along with department supervisor and leadership team members), and recommends employees to fill vacant positions.
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to onboard new hires
- Keeps records of benefits plan participation, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, training, and employee statistics for government reporting.
- Advises management on the appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Administers a performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.
- Trains supervisor on performance evaluation best practices and policy.
- Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within the organization.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university; Experience over two years may be substituted toward education (1 : 1) Two years related experience;
Must have a working knowledge of employment laws; PHR or SPHR Certification is a plus. Industry experience in behavioral health, nonprofit, and / or healthcare is also a plus.
