Job Description :

As a Welding and Fabrication Specialist at Innovative Manufacturing Solutions, you will play a key role in our production process by performing welding and fabrication tasks to create high-quality metal components and structures.

Your expertise in welding techniques, metalworking, and fabrication processes will contribute to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities :

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Set up and operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders to join metal components.
• Perform various welding processes including gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW).
• Select appropriate welding techniques and materials based on metal type, thickness, and project specifications.
• Conduct fit-up and tack welding operations to prepare components for final welding.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, grind, and shape metal components as needed.
• As needed, perform fabrication tasks such as bending, forming, and cutting metal to create finished products.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of welds and fabricated components through visual inspections and dimensional measurements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and workflow.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and quality control standards at all times.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a welder / fabricator in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and techniques.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
