Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to three partners.
- Manage incoming phone calls, coordinate schedules, and ensure outstanding client communication.
- Act as a secondary point of contact for firmwide inquiries.
- Handle general office tasks such as photocopying and document scanning.
- Input and manage data in the firm’s proprietary database system.
- Assist in registering partners for conferences and speaking engagements, including event preparation and follow-up.
- Prepare and submit expense reports on behalf of partners.
- Support marketing efforts by maintaining and updating the firm’s eblast contact list.
- Assist with special projects and assignments delegated by partners.
Requirements and Skills :
- Demonstrated experience as an administrative assistant (experience in a law firm preferred).
- Bachelor's or associate degree strongly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment, both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and a quick learner with other technology platforms.
Notes :
- Position is based in our Columbus Office, supporting one Columbus-based partner and two Cleveland-based partners.
- Hybrid work model : During the training period, full-time office attendance is required for five days a week. After training completion, the role transitions to a hybrid schedule, with two days remote and three days in the office.
