Rassey Industries, a premier machining supplier in the automotive industry, is seeking a Broaching Machine Operator to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining broaching machines to produce precision components for our Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers.
You will be working in a modern, state-of-the-art facility in Shelby Twp, Michigan, utilizing your skills to help us maintain our reputation as a leader in the industry.

Responsibilities
- Set-up and operate broaching machines according to specifications
- Verify component accuracy using measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them running at optimal levels
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and targets
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience operating broaching machines in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Proficient in the use of measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Hours from 5 : 30pm - 4am
